Here's the next part of the Malleus Maleficarum.
There are three types of witches:
Those who harm, but cannot heal
Those who heal, but cannot harm
Those who can do both
Witches who harm can do really terrible things. These are the ones that eat kids and make potions from the bones. These witches can create storms, cause infertility in humans and animals, and offer children as sacrifices (when they have leftovers). They can make horses act crazy, fly, protect themselves from police, and make themselves or others stay quiet under torture.
Thinking of it from a realistic standpoint, since most (if not all) of the people accused were not likely witches... This is horrifying information. Imagine you try to protect yourself from legal action, then you're taken and tortured, but you refuse to talk because you didn't do anything wrong, then they take that as evidence that you actually are doing something wrong. It's infuriating to think about how many people had to go through this.
Getting back to the topic at hand... Witches do have limits. They can't hurt baptized children with magic because God won't allow it. God allows them to do a lot of other things, but that's neither here nor there. Witches also can't undo the harm they've done; if they gave your man erectile dysfunction, that can't be fixed.
Speaking of erections, witches all have sex with devils. Yes, all of them. Every single one. Can you blame them? A good lay is hard to find.
In perhaps one of the cruelest twists of this whole thing, midwives were considered some of the most harmful witches. Imagine you're assisting someone in labor and the baby doesn't make it. You're a witch, off to jail. When you consider how high infant mortality rates have been throughout history, it's a wonder there were any midwives left at all.
Well, I'll end it right there for now. Here's a playlist I made a while back because seriously fuck this guy.
Stay safe!
